The “Concept Reduction—The Art Creation Process of Mr. Red” exhibition kicked off at Suzhou Eslite Bookstore, SIP on Nov 1, and will last till Jan 4, 2026. The exhibition showcases the artist’s creative journey and works spanning over two decades with rich details.

Mr. Red, an artist widely known for his iconic creation “Puppy-Faced Doll”, has received multiple awards. In 1998, Mr. Red broke the conventional boundaries of publishing with a book featuring text and image interaction, establishing a brand new format of publishing.

On display are over 200 original paintings and manuscripts by the artist, including many unveiled to the public for the first time. The artist showed up at the bookstore on the opening day, sharing a series of stories behind his creations with the audiences.
