On the evening of Nov 1, the square outside SIP Youth & Children Center Qingjian Lake Sub-center came alive with the melodies of the “Autumn Night in SIP” concert, which was part of the SIP Golden Autumn ? Three Lakes Carnival.
From the moonlit Qingjian Lake, a gentle breeze carried the sweet fragrance of osmanthus. The audience, seated or standing, sang along to the familiar tunes, filling the air with warmth and resonance.
In addition to a list of timeless hits, a versatile band and outstanding soloists and vocalists earned roaring applause from the audiences.
It is worth mentioning that youngsters from SIP Youth & Children Center energized the stage with a street dance, and the choir of the Harmony ? Flower Season Youth Art Troupe performed a beautiful song. The students from SIP Industrial Technical School amazed the audience with a dance full of traditional Chinese cultural elements.
Beside the stage, the pop-up market buzzed with people weaving through over 20 stalls selling lifestyle, high-tech and artisanal products, which added to the liveliness of the autumn night.
