The PROJAM 2025, a premier skateboarding event in China, was held at the new TURNPRO HOUSE skateboarding park in Yangchenghu Peninsula Tourist Resort in SIP recently, driving a craze for skateboarding in Suzhou.
Co-sponsored by HOBODAZE and Vision Street Wear, the event attracted more than 500 contestants including top skaters and enthusiasts from around the country, with the youngest aged below 12.
Enthusiasts progressed through FLOW, AM and PRO divisions, with the top eight racing against professional skaters in the final PRO group.
The park was packed with an energetic crowd, erupting in cheers as the contestants landed difficult tricks.
After intense rivalries, the champions of the PRO and AM divisions emerged.
The event also served as a bridge to pro careers. AM champion Li Zihan secured an annual sponsorship of RMB36,000 from HOBODAZE. Furthermore, the top three AM finishers earned direct qualification to the 2025 FISE World Series Shanghai.
