SIP and China Animation Comic Game Group, a state-owned enterprise focusing on serving animation and comic industry in China, signed an agreement at the 2025 Suzhou International Culture and Creativity Conference on Oct 31, launching cooperation in building the first animation industry research and big data innovation base in East China. This marks SIP has entered a new racing track for high-quality development.
So far this year, SIP has attracted 30-plus projects into its cultural industry cohort, including Youku’s animation R&D base which is designed to support and improve the ACG (animation, comic and game) content supply chain.
Concurrently, the existing cultural enterprises in SIP are growing fast, with a long list of productions winning popularity overseas and many new works to come out.
As part of the efforts to enhance support for cultural industry, SIP is making the plan for a three-year action aimed at driving high-quality development of ACG industry.
